Terms of use

Last updated [DATE]. These terms govern your use of navarasalu.in. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

Navarasalu is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [ADDRESS], Hyderabad, Telangana [PIN], India. "We" and "us" mean that entity. "You" means the person using the site.

1. What this platform is, and is not

Navarasalu is a listing service. Performers publish links to their own work. Verified casting and production accounts can browse those listings. That is the whole of it.

We are not a talent agency, manager or representative. We do not represent you, negotiate on your behalf, or hold any authority to act for you. We are not a party to any agreement you reach with anyone you meet through this site, and we take no commission, finder's fee or share of any payment you receive.

We do not promise work, auditions, roles, or that anyone will see your profile. Nobody can honestly promise that, and we never will. If anyone claiming to represent Navarasalu promises you a role in exchange for money, it is not us — tell us immediately.

2. Who may use it

You must be 18 or older. We do not knowingly allow accounts for anyone younger, and we do not host video of people under 18.

One account per person. You are responsible for what happens under your login, and for telling us promptly if you believe someone else has access.

You must be the person in the videos you submit, or have the clear consent of everyone who appears in them.

3. Your work stays yours

Under the Copyright Act, 1957 you own the copyright in your work, and under Section 38 you hold performer's rights in your own performance. Nothing on this site changes that. Posting here transfers no rights to us.

You grant us only a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable licence to display your profile, your name or stage name, your headshot and your submitted links on this site, and to show your profile to verified industry accounts. That licence exists solely so the site can function, and it ends the moment you delete the submission or your account.

We will not licence, sell, sublicense or commercially exploit your work. We will not use it in advertising without asking you first, separately, each time.

4. Video is hosted elsewhere

We do not host video. You upload to YouTube or Instagram and give us the link, which means your video remains subject to that platform's own terms, and your use of copyrighted music in a performance is a matter between you and them.

You are responsible for keeping your links live and accessible. If a link stops working we may mark the submission inactive.

Take care with film music. A performance set to a copyrighted song may be claimed or removed by the rights holder on the hosting platform, and that is outside our control.

5. What may not be posted

Do not submit anything that is not your own performance, that is obscene or sexually explicit, that defames anyone, that promotes hatred against any group, that shows a person under 18, that infringes copyright, or that is unlawful in India.

We may remove any submission and close any account for breach of this clause, without notice where the content is seriously harmful.

6. Industry accounts

Casting and production accounts are verified by hand before being opened. We check the organisation, and we may decline or withdraw access at any time without giving reasons.

If you hold an industry account, you may use this site only to find performers for genuine work. You may not:

We will close an industry account for any of the first three without warning, and we will tell the performers affected. We may also report the matter to the appropriate authorities and to the relevant industry body.

Performers: if anything like this happens to you, email us. You will not lose your listing for reporting it.

7. Fees

Use of the site is currently free for performers and for industry accounts. If we introduce a listing fee, we will publish it on the pricing page and email account holders before it applies. We will never charge you to be contacted, to be shortlisted, or to receive an introduction.

8. Removing your work

You may delete a submission or close your account at any time, from your dashboard or by writing to us. Your profile stops being visible immediately. Some records are kept as described in the privacy policy.

9. Reporting content

We act as an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Intermediary Guidelines, 2021. If you believe something on this site is unlawful, infringes your rights, or is a video of you posted without your consent, write to the grievance officer named in our privacy policy with the link and what is wrong.

We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days. Content showing a person without consent in a sexual or impersonating manner is removed within 24 hours of a valid complaint. We act on court or government orders within 36 hours.

10. The service itself

We try to keep the site available but do not guarantee it. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it. Keep your own copies of everything you submit.

To the extent Indian law allows, we are not liable for anything that happens between you and another user, for work you do or do not get, or for any agreement you enter into with someone you meet here. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you have paid us in the preceding twelve months, which at present is nil.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be emailed to account holders, and the date at the top will change. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version.

12. Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Indian law. The courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction.
